Job description

VAL-CO a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems, is currently looking for a Press Operator at our Coldwater, Ohio facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
  • Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
  • Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and work experience as a Machine Operator preferred
  • Understanding of tolerances and dimensions
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
  • Able to identify inaccuracies in production material and/or processes
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time during an 8-10 hour shift
