We are seeking a Coil Loader and Floop Operator on 2nd Shift to join our team at the Ocala FL plant!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 2nd 3:30pm - 12:00am

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 + $1.00 SD

Position Summary:

Working in a manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in Coil Loading operation including but not limited to setting up and operating machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities using hand tools, various type of packing materials. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined. Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assembles, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
  • Uses a machine operated welder to create continuity between new and (WIP) product
  • Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units.
  • Uses forklift/ overhead crane to restock metal coils
  • Monitors proficiency of machine performance and ensures continuity in the manufacturing process and
  • Completes low level maintenance to ensure machine capability
  • Takes measurements of material to ensure material is meeting specification
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Education And Experience:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
  • (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation as you will frequently and repetitively be required to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and/or sit and reach with hands and arms. May occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment. Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Must wear required hearing and/or eye protection.
