Work Shift:

12hr-C Shift (United States of America)The Machine Operator, RHSB is an entry level production operator role responsible for running and supporting Reheat Stretch Blow (RHSB) machines. This role focuses on packing, inspecting, labeling, and preparing bottles for shipment while working safely and following quality standards.

Essential Functions

Safely operate and work around production equipment

Wear required PPE at all times (bump cap, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes)

Rotate between machines and packing styles as needed

Select the correct box size for each product run

Assemble boxes using a tape gun

Scan required items accurately

Line up 6-9 assembled boxes at the machine without blocking aisles or exits

Verify whether the order requires caps:

If caps are required: fold the liner over bottles and place caps in the box

If caps are not required: place the liner in the box so it can be folded over bottles before sealing

Place completed boxes onto the conveyor

Inspect product samples at the end of the conveyor for visible defects

Immediately report any defects to the Processor

Fold liners over product to prevent contamination

Apply labels correctly to completed boxes

Keep your workstation clean (sweep, take out trash, restock supplies)

Work overtime when needed to support production or cover absences

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

At least 6 months of packing or machine operation experience preferred

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Strong focus on safety and quality

Basic computer and scanning skills

Willingness to rotate tasks and follow instructions

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud, and use of PPE (ear plugs) is required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be regularly required to:

Ability to perform standing job for 8 to 12 consecutive hours (depending on shift length).

Remain stationery for extended periods of time.

Move around production floor.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and leaders.

Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 25 pounds.

Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 8- to 12-hour period (depending on shift length).

Identify, recognize and assess periodic documents, machinery and more.

Work in manufacturing environment.

  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
