Job description

Machine Operator – Metals Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operators for 1st and 2nd Shift to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the efficient and safe production of goods. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of machine operations, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Starting pay will be based upon experience. 2nd Shift has a $1.50 shift differential.
1st Shift Hours are 5am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift Hours are 3pm - 1:30am
Currently working up to 6 Days A WEEK
Machine Operator – Metals Essential Functions
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Inspect for defects, reporting any findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Run required reports.
  • Packing.
  • Maintaining clean and safe workspace.
Machine Operator – Metals Required Experience
  • Ability to learn other line jobs to serve as utility person for breaks and lunch.
  • Ability to work overtime as required. Currently working up to 6 Days A WEEK
  • Experience with or ability to do intricate hand assembly on fast paced assembly line.
  • Possess good eye-hand coordination for assembly purposes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Machine Operator – Metals Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Prolonged standing as required during press and assembly operations.
  • Ability to reach into press with both hands to remove product required.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, twist or turn to move product from press and/or assembly areas to other plant locations required.
  • Required lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to read applicable instructions.
  • The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Work Environment is NOT temperature controlled
