Job description

Machine Operator

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Ability to operate and set-up machines that are assigned.
  • Understand and follow quality requirements/procedures for the area
  • Understand and follow safety requirements/procedures for the area
  • Perform all required inspection checks on the rings
  • Must be able to run to standard after training period
  • Perform set-ups
  • Ability to operate at expected rate
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math, read blueprints, and read applicable measuring devices
  • Adherence to all Job Instructions
  • Any other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Standing                100%
  • Walking                   20%
  • Frequent lifting/carrying of 35lbs. on average.
  • Frequently required to stand for long periods.
  • Requires the ability to maintain a high level of mental concentration and emotional stability.
  • Some areas in the facility involve exposure to potentially hazardous materials, which will require the use of additional personal protective equipment.
  • Some areas in the facility contain Electrical Magneetic fields that may affect medical devices such as pacemakers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
