Job description:

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.

Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring all production equipment is set up and prepared per production schedule, including labels, batter, stuffing, etc.

  • Oversee machine operations and makes minor equipment adjustments.

  • Performs metal detections and other quality and USDA required inspections and must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.

  • May perform basic maintenance on machines. Contacts Maintenance Mechanic if necessary.

  • Interacts with Line Leads to determine equipment set-up and operation.

  • May be responsible for machine adjustments when production changeovers occur.

  • Will work on production line and ensure product standard.

  • Provides assistance to lower-level team members and may train new or recently promoted team members.

PAY: $21.20 hour

HOURS: 1:20 PM - 10:30 PM

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have at least 3 months of machine operator experience within the last 6 months listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience is at least 3 months).
  • Must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.
