Fenner Dunlop is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Toledo, Ohio manufacturing team. team. Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial machinery to ensure efficient production. Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

For over 150 years, Fenner Dunlop has researched, designed, developed, manufactured, and tested its conveyor belting products, supporting nearly any type of conveyor application, and providing the right solutions to protect conveyor system investments in the harshest conveying environments.
What You'll Do
Equipment Operation:
Efficiently and safely operate overhead cranes, power industrial trucks, and various power and hand tools.
Optimize performance by properly utilizing all equipment for each assigned task, ensuring adherence to the standard operating procedures.
Support production flow by conducting and assisting with changeovers, buffing, and other processes to minimize equipment downtime.
Achieve full qualification in at least one department, such as calendaring, lamination, pressing, or inspection.
Demonstrate expertise in department-specific processes and quality requirements.
Safety and Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
Adhere to established safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
Promptly report any production issues, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
Production Documentation:
Accurately maintain production records and job information. Record entries in Epicor.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with standard operating procedures, including quality checks and control procedures.
Quality Assurance:
Adhere to established quality standards and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality products.
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to identify and address defects or inconsistencies.
Report quality issues or concerns to supervision and participate in corrective actions as necessary.
Attendance and Policy Adherence:
Maintain a strong attendance record and comply with the company's attendance policy.
Consistently follow all company policies and procedures.
Additional Duties:
Train other team members.
Perform additional tasks as directed by supervision to support overall production goals.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior manufacturing or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to work all shifts (8 and/or 12 hours) and weekends
  • Ability to learn and adapt to various departmental processes and equipment.
  • Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
