The compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's level of experience. We understand that each individual's unique background and expertise will contribute differently to our team. All applicants are encouraged to provide details of their previous professional experiences during the application process.

Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Operate machinery to process, compact, or finish materials according to production requirements
  • Occasionally use handheld plasma cutting torch
  • Set up equipment, adjust machine settings, and verify proper alignment and calibration
  • Frequently lifts and carries 50-lbs of scrap to the scrap bin
  • Occasionally use a two-man lift of material weighing more than 50-lbs 
  • Monitor machine performance, material flow, and product quality throughout the production cycle
  • Frequently operate an overhead crane and/or hoist to load/unload material by pushing/pulling as the load is suspended  
  • Perform routine inspections
  • Identify equipment malfunctions or quality issues and report them promptly to maintenance or supervision
  • Follow production schedules, work orders, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
  • Participate in crosstraining and operate additional equipment as needed to support production flow, fill staffing gaps, and maintain operational flexibility
  • Other duties as assigned
