ARDMS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography
Shift: Variable Shifts, 40 Hours Per Week
Employment Type: Fulltime (FT)

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Sonographer to join a growing healthcare team in Southeast Maryland. The Echo Sonographer independently performs vascular or cardiac ultrasound procedures with a high level of competence, requiring minimal supervision of technical details. They actively participate in various patient care and technical activities essential to the Cardiovascular Lab's operations. Their responsibilities include completing cardiac echocardiograms on adult patients.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.
  • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, as instructed by the dentist.
  • Perform routine dental procedures under the supervision of the dentist, such as taking impressions and applying fluoride treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental care techniques.
  • Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as billing and insurance claims processing.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) through ARDMS or CCI.
  • At least one year in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular testing or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.
  • Toshiba and GE echo machine experience is preferred
