Job Summary

This position requires operating a forklift in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor, paved and unpaved environment. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.  

Job Responsibilities
 

  • Operate heavy equipment, specifically a front-end loader and/or forklift, and production machinery as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Load bins for production while ensuring product is correct mix and quantity to prevent delay in the production process 
  • Keep work area clean
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements 
  • Assist machine operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; or at least three years of related manufacturing experience in trades specific to job requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shipping and receiving tickets, and procedure manuals
  • Must be able to pass internal certification program
  • Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
