Job description

Summary
The Cut Order Fulfillment Operator is responsible for accurately cutting, staging, and preparing FieldTurf products according to customer orders and production specifications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring orders are fulfilled on time, meet quality standards, and are prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.
This position is for our Adairsville Distribution Center.
1st Shift
Key Responsibilities
  • Review work orders, cut sheets, and production schedules to understand order requirements
  • Accurately measure, cut, and trim turf, padding, or related materials to specified dimensions
  • Operate cutting equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Inspect materials for quality, defects, and compliance with FieldTurf standards
  • Being certified and responsible for making sure the cut table is following lock out tag out procedure if needed to clean or get in between rollers or under the cut table
  • Label, bundle, and stage completed orders for packing and shipment
  • Maintain accurate records of completed cuts, material usage, and order status
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of cutting tools and materials
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S/lean manufacturing principles
  • Communicate issues such as material shortages, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors
  • Assist with loading, unloading, or other warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to read measurements, blueprints, or cut specifications accurately
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using hand tools, cutting equipment, or industrial machinery a plus
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with assistance when required
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
