Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join a screw and fastener coating company. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in enhancing screws by applying protective coatings, adding colored paint for visibility, or incorporating nylon locks. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a union after the initial 90 days, with annual raises thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Review work orders to determine client specifications for screw alterations.
- Set up and operate your assigned machine independently.
- Conduct three quality checks every hour and document the results.
- Apply protective coatings, colored paint, plastic caps, or nylon nuts to screws as required.
Essential Skills- Proficiency in machine operation and inspection.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to manage complex machinery.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Comfortable working with adhesive, glue, and acetone smells.
- Experience in production and manufacturing environments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.53 - $21.03/hr.
