Boring Mill Operator โ€“ Mega Mold โ€“ Windsor, On

Come work for a dynamic company that offers a great career opportunity. Mega Mold is looking for a talented CNC Operator to join our growing team.

Full Time Permanent Position

Days/Afternoons

Full Benefits including dental care, extended health and vision.

Main Purpose of Job:

Produce precision components from 3D computer models. Generate CNC programs using Powermill.

Boring Mill Operator Job Description:

  • Create, load, and examine CNC programs
  • Set up tools, indicate and load materials onto Boring Mill
  • Carry out machining of components
  • Carry out inspection to the authorized level
  • Identify and report errors and suggest improvements
  • Work with managers and supervisors to implement the Company's policies and procedures
  • Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy
  • Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability as required by the CNC Leader

Boring Mill Operator Qualifications:

  • Fully skilled 5 years minimum experience.
  • Able to Program using Powermill
  • Work to fine tolerances with various materials
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
  • Able to work under own initiative
  • Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach
  • Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Operator should have their own tools to perform machining duties
  • Able to work various shifts
