Floor Technician (Weekly Position)
Pay: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience and job type)
Location: Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas
We're seeking an experienced Floor Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone skilled in specialty floor care who's looking for flexible, project-based work that typically takes place on weekends or during evening hours.
Responsibilities
  • Perform strip and wax, top scrub and recoat, and carpet cleaning services
  • Run drivable floor machine
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including buffers, burnishers, extractors, and auto scrubbers
  • Ensure floors are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and appearance
  • Follow all safety protocols and properly maintain equipment and supplies

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of floor care experience (strip & wax, carpet cleaning, etc.)
  • Ability to operate and maintain floor machines and related tools
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Roanoke area
  • Availability for as-needed evening and weekend work
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Compensation
  • Hourly rate: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience and type of job)
