Job Description

This is a 3rd shift position (M-F 9PM-5AM) in Naples, FL. This role is in a manufacturing environment.

Marmon Defenseproudly supports the defense industry for Land, Sea, Air and Space applications by offering a full range of connectivity products and services, including custom wire and cable, coil cords, cable assemblies, tools, testing and training and installation services. We are the one-stop-shop for harsh environment connectivity solutions.

Our manufacturing center in Naples, FL houses a dedicated team providing a complete product offering of high performance wire and cable using both high and low temperature materials and custom designs to meet the most exacting requirements. As an experienced manufacturer we assure that all of our products are engineered and manufactured with the highest level of expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform machine set up

Meet all customer, in house, UL, CSA and mil specifications

Process orders according to customer due dates

Participate in scheduling the machine so it runs efficiently.

Performing operator PM's every day to keep machines running at optimal levels

Complete various documents.

Keep a clean and safe working environment.

Any other duties deemed necessary by Manager or Team Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Previous wire and cable experience preferred, similar experience considered

Lean and 5S training preferred

AS9100 experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to read and write English

Must be able to verbally communicate in English

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

None Required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to stand for 8 hours

Able to lift 40 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be safety, quality, and service oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Able to work as part of a multi craft, cellular, operator led team.

Must be able to work safely around moving materials and equipment.

Steel toed shoes and safety glasses are required at all times

Hearing protection is required.
