Job description

Allegiance Staffing in Greer, SC is looking for experienced Machine Operators for a growing company in Gray Court, SC. Ideal candidate would need 3 years of machine operator experience. These are temp to hire 12-hour rotating day shift 7am-7pm or 7p-7a in a climate-controlled space.
Pay:
19.00 1st
21.00 3rd
Shift:
7am-7pm rotating shift
7pm-7am rotating shift
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform set-up, start-up and shut-down of machine per Standard Operating
  • Procedures (SOP)
  • Operate the Slitter machine to get finished goods according to customer specifications under the supervision and direction of the Team Lead or Production Manager.
  • Set up slitter according to process standards using touchscreen PLCโ€™s
  • Perform thread-up of Slitter
  • Verify shift hoist inspection has been completed
  • Operate machine to load unit rolls and remove empty mandrels
  • Manage handling and packaging of finished slit rolls
  • Monitor machine while in run mode
  • Operate shaft extractor
  • Manage work of Packaging operators
  • Lead and perform shift clean-up for slitter
  • Focus on continuous improvement and problem solving
  • Provide coverage during absence of other shift technicians
