SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Machine Operator / Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, safety, and consistent performance. You will work hands-on with production machinery, assemble components, and ensure products meet quality standards.
Essential DutiesMachine Operation & Setup
Set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Read and interpret customer drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to select, position, and secure machinery.
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Safety & Maintenance
Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
Report any issues to the Manufacturing Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or Safety Officer promptly.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Report defects or repair needs to the supervisor.
Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned work area.
Assembly & Production
Read basic work orders, follow production drawings, sample assemblies, or verbal instructions.
Position and align parts in specified relationships using fixtures or other holding devices.
Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, and riveting.
Mount components-including transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets-onto printed circuit boards.
Mount assembled components on to upper-level assemblies.
Install finished assemblies or subassemblies.
Documentation & WorkflowMaintain department-specific records accurately and consistently.
Work under close supervision from the Production Department Supervisor.
Adhere to company attendance standards and maintain punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsAbility to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools and production equipment.
