Ready to take the next step in your manufacturing career? RW Solutions is seeking an Advanced Machine Operator who enjoys working with industrial equipment, solving problems, and helping produce the high-quality food products our customers rely on every day.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for Machine Operators by providing training, guidance, and support on equipment operation, troubleshooting, safety procedures, quality standards, and best operating practices.
  • Operate automated food processing, mixing, and packaging equipment in accordance with production requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Safely load raw materials and food ingredients into processing equipment using overhead lifting devices, hoists, cranes, or other material-handling equipment as required.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain product quality, maximize efficiency, and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished products and routinely evaluate equipment performance to identify quality concerns, wear, damage, or operational issues.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, assist with preventive maintenance activities, and escalate significant concerns to the Plant Manager.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, including mixing vessels, hoppers, product-contact surfaces, and surrounding work areas in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP requirements, company safety policies, and proper PPE requirements.
  • Accurately complete production, quality, maintenance, and equipment documentation.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • High school diploma or GED is required for this role.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience operating production, processing, packaging, or manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment issues and making operational adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience using production reporting systems, electronic documentation, or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production targets.

  • Strong communication skills and can effectively train employees with varying levels of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
  • Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.

  • Climbing & Access: Periodically climb stairs or access elevated platforms to perform equipment inspections, operation, or cleaning activities.
  • Temperature Exposure: Work in areas with varying temperatures common to food manufacturing and production environments.
  • Noise Exposure: Regularly work around operating machinery and equipment in environments with elevated noise levels; hearing protection may be required.
  • Dust & Odor Exposure: May be exposed to food ingredients, airborne particles, and odors associated with manufacturing, sanitation, and production processes.
  • PPE Requirements: Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other equipment as required.
  • Wet Surfaces: May work in areas where floors can become wet during production and sanitation activities; proper footwear and adherence to safety practices are required.
