Job description

Title: Machine Operator
Location: Sealy, TX

Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Pay: $16-17 an hour

Adecco is hiring Machine Operators in Sealy, TX.  Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of metalworking machinery and equipment to produce high-quality components in accordance with technical specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
 Responsibilities:
  • Operate metalworking machinery such as lathes, drills, grinders, presses, and welding equipment to fabricate components.
  • Monitor machine operations and production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform quality checks and corrective actions on finished products to meet company standards.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from machinery and work areas.
  • Assemble metal components based on blueprints or instructions; perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, or painting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet production goals and resolve issues.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, steel-toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and earplugs.
  • Promptly report safety hazards or concerns to appropriate personnel.

Physical Requirements:
 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficient in Excel for data recording and reporting
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with team assistance or mechanical aid.
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods (8 to 12-hour shifts).
  • Regular bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in awkward or confined positions.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to handle small components and operate precision machinery.
  • Ability to push/pull carts, pallets, or heavy components as part of the material handling process.
  • Ability to climb ladders or access platforms for equipment maintenance or inspection when necessary.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to noise, and occasional exposure to vibration, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures (both hot and cold).
  • You must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat).
  • Must have the physical stamina and focus to perform repetitive tasks safely and accurately throughout a full shift.

 
Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
