Machine Operator – Manufacturing | 1st Shift | Tulsa, OK

Position: Machine Operator
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

As a Machine Operator, you'll support the production of high-quality industrial components by operating specialized machining equipment, including a unique Flame Cell machine. No Flame Cell experience is required—we'll provide the training. We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy working with machines and learning new equipment.

What You'll DoMachine Operation
  • Operate specialized Flame Cell equipment after training

  • Set up and operate production equipment with guidance and support

  • Assist with operating drill presses, engine lathes, and other machining equipment

  • Support CNC mill and lathe operations as needed

  • Perform machining operations including drilling, boring, threading, facing, reaming, countersinking, and grooving

  • Monitor machine performance and make basic operational adjustments

Quality & Inspection
  • Read blueprints, drawings, routing sheets, and work instructions

  • Perform visual inspections and verify part quality throughout production

  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Coordinate first article inspections with supervisors

  • Ensure all finished parts meet quality standards and specifications

Production Support
  • Maintain production schedules and communicate job status with supervisors

  • Keep tools and measuring equipment organized and properly maintained

  • Report equipment or maintenance concerns promptly

  • Cross-train on additional machines and manufacturing processes

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or machining experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints

  • Experience using precision measuring tools

  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

  • Ability to identify mechanical components and follow work instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
