Georgia-Pacific is now hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Machine Operators at our facility in Hattiesburg, MS. These positions work 12-hour shifts, to include rotating, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The starting pay is $19.00 per hour..

What You Will Do
  • Operate equipment to safely meet daily production goals
  • Inspecting product and make appropriate equipment adjustments to meet quality standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic machine repair
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work area throughout shift to ensure a safe and orderly environment
  • Maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
  • Work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, military, farming, and/or automotive environment
  • Experience adjusting and repairing equipment in a manufacturing industrial, military, farming, and/or automotive environment
  • Experience utilizing computerized machinery in in a manufacturing industrial, military, farming, and/or automotive environment
