Job description

Summary: Phase 2 Expansion

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-focused Bilingual Production Operator (Chinese & English) to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate production equipment and support manufacturing operations within a controlled clean room environment. This position also serves as a communication resource by helping facilitate clear communication between English- and Chinese-speaking team members. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality production process. 

Responsibilities

  • Repair defective cell strings according to established procedures.
  • Accurately complete production inspection and machine documentation.
  • Assist with communication between English- and Chinese-speaking employees, supervisors, and support teams during daily operations.
  • Translate basic work instructions, production information, and operational communications as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area while following clean room protocols, gowning requirements, and contamination control procedures.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Complete shift handovers and communicate equipment or production issues effectively.
  • Monitor product quality and report any defects or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and maintain efficient operations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

The following experience is highly preferred, but not required:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures and quality standards in a production setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to work in a controlled clean room environment while wearing required PPE and following gowning procedures.
