Shift Availability, Pay, Differentials & Bonus
We are currently hiring across multiple shifts. Available schedules include:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Pay: $19.18 - $27.19 per hour (based on experience, skill level, and position classification)
Additional earning opportunities include:
  • 2nd Shift Premium: +$1.50 per hour
  • 3rd Shift Premium: +$1.75 per hour
  • Quarterly Bonus: Eligible for up to 5% of salary earned bonus each quarter based on performance and business results

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with tools and being part of a fast-paced team? Join us as a Machine Operator and help build high-quality air conditioning units that keep homes and businesses comfortable year-round.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with equipment such as Brake Press, CNC Turret, and other production machinery. Whether you're experienced or looking to grow your skills, you'll be part of a supportive, safety-first environment with opportunities for advancement.
Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as brakes, shears, presses, and other production equipment to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural components used in air conditioning unit production.
What you will do
  • Operate and perform basic machine setup with minimal supervision
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and shop orders
  • Fabricate, cut, shape, drill, and form metal workpieces to precise specifications
  • Select, position, and secure tooling, fixtures, stops, and guides onto machines
  • Adjust machine controls including pressure, speed, depth, and blade angle
  • Position and align workpieces using layout marks, dies, and cutting tools
  • Start and monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform inspections and measurements to ensure quality standards are met
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
  • Label finished parts and move them to proper storage locations
  • Document deviations and take corrective action as needed
  • Perform routine operator preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S)
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
  • Assist in training new employees as needed
  • Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions or incidents

  • Apply knowledge of metal fabrication processes to safely and efficiently operate machinery
  • Follow instructions from blueprints, work orders, and production systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and escalate when needed
  • Work collaboratively across departments and shifts to meet production goals
  • Utilize ERP systems and basic computer tools to support production tracking
  • Maintain flexibility to support overtime or shift changes when needed
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Military experience or technical training in the armed forces is preferred

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals). Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to perform basic math functions, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES
Forklift certification may be required and must be obtained within three (3) months if applicable.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Frequent repetitive motion involving hands and arms
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead
  • Ability to work around moving machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work overtime as required
