Job description

Job Summary - Adams Thermal
Produce world-class components for engine cooling systems while working on either a team-led production line or an individual work center. Operators are responsible for safely operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production goals.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Operate production line machinery and perform product assembly.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment and resolve minor production issues.
  • Perform machine and equipment changeovers as needed.
  • Inspect parts and maintain quality standards by making machine adjustments when necessary.
  • Reject parts that do not meet specifications.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Complete daily production and quality logs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery.
  • Communicate with operators on other shifts regarding production and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Lock out and shut down equipment when required.
  • Assist maintenance technicians and manufacturing engineers as needed.
  • Help train new operators when requested.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial but willingness to learn is highly valued.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
