Overall Job Function:

The Customer Service Specialist is the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The goal will be to provide excellent customer service while promoting our products and services. Rotating Saturdays are required for this position.

Essential Job Functions:

Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products for their needs.

Answer customer questions regarding product features, pricing, and availability.

Provide recommendations based on customer needs and project requirements.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including product displays and inventory.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Stay updated on new products and promotions to effectively assist customers.

Assist with inventory management and restocking.

Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.

Other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements:

This position is based in a fast-paced office setting. Equipment utilized will be a computer, phone, fax, copy machine and other standard office equipment. Typical office hours are Monday to Friday daytime hours; weekend / holiday and evening hours as deemed by customer demand. Position will occasionally be exposed to elements, loud noise, and agricultural equipment and may require travel between FCS locations.

While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and listen most of the time. The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. The employee will need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 15 pounds frequently. The physicality of this job is moderate.
