At OTC, being a Laborer means more than providing support-it's about growing, earning, and building your future. What You'll Do: Assist Seal & Pump Technicians in the repair, maintenance, and rebuild of industrial pumps and related equipment.

Operate machinery used in production processes or assist machine operators as needed. Inspect products and components to verify conformance to quality standards. Lift, move, and transport raw materials, finished products, and packaged items manually or using material handling equipment.

Count and verify finished products to ensure customer orders are complete and accurate. Record production information including quantities, test results, meter readings, and production dates and times. Reclaim cutting and lubricating oils by operating oil recovery and filtration equipment.

Remove metal chips, shavings, dirt, and excess oil from machinery and work surfaces. Clean and maintain work areas using brooms, shovels, rags, air hoses, and other cleaning equipment. Separate scrap metal, chips, shavings, and recyclable materials from waste for proper disposal or recycling.

Remove burrs and excess metal from machined parts using files, sandpaper, emery cloth, or grinding equipment. Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed. Maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with company and industry safety standards.

Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Forklift operating experience preferred; previous certification is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial repair and maintenance skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Requires heavy physical work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.

Physical labor is a primary component of the role and may account for more than 60% of daily job duties. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working in an industrial shop environment. Work environment may involve exposure to machinery, oils, lubricants, dirt, dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
