Job description

TITLE: Clinical Team Assistant

Status: Non-Exempt

HOURS: Full Time; 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday Through Friday

REPORTS TO: Director of Patient Services

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Team Assistant is responsible for supporting the Director of Patient Services and Marquis Certified Home Care Supervisors with all administrative duties including front desk support. Specific Projects will include: Home Health Aide back-office coordination and Temporary/Agency worker back-office support.

All organization functions are performed accurately and in a timely manner. They are responsible to ensure that all communication is conducted in accordance with Marquis Certified Home Care policies and procedures, State/Federal and payer regulations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operations of office

2. Ensures that assigned daily functions are accurately completed within designated time frame

3. All daily mail is received and distributed in a timely manner. Outgoing mail sent out in timely manner

4. Serve as primary back up Receptionist position

5. Maintains copy and fax machines, assists user, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes

6. Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating

7. Maintains confidentiality of all information

8. Supports maintenance of list and directories

9. Provides exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers

10. Other responsibilities and projects as deemed by the Director of Patient Services for the smooth operation of the agency

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Strong phone/communication skills

Experienced with operating office equipment including phone systems, photocopier, fax machine, Electronic Health Record, and the ability to learn new system preferred. Working knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and MS Office required.
