Job description

Job Title: 1st ClassInside Manual Machinist
Location: Lockport, LA
Position Overview: An Inside Machinist fabricates machine components such as shafts, rudder stocks, stern tubes, etc., using manual and CNC machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to fabricate machine components.
  • Use measuring tools such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
  • Perform quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with manual and CNC machining.
