Job Details:


Job Title: Operator 1, Machine
Work Location: 1022 Corporate Park Way, Mebane, NC 27302
Pay Rate: $20.50/hr on W2
Schedule Time: 3rd Shift; Monday - Thursday, ending 7:00 AM Friday (4x10 schedule with a 1-hour break).


Position Summary:

  • Performs routine production operations including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and visual inspection under general supervision.
  • Maintains accurate records and logs in strict compliance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000 quality standards.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment to support shift goals, standard practices, and site operational metrics.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily machine operations and production duties: filling, packing, assembling, labeling, inspecting, and utility functions.
  • Maintain precise production logs and records in compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO9000 standards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality protocols while making routine decisions under direct to general supervision.
  • Participate in task rotations across different processes to maintain flexible team operations.
  • Report to work punctually and adhere to all safety and production guidelines.


Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Machine Operation: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior hands-on machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Language & Math: Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documentation/specifications in English and perform basic math calculations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, dependability, and willingness to work flexible or extended hours if required.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • 1 to 2 years of prior machine operator/manufacturing experience.


Additional Information:

  • Schedule Note: 3rd Shift operates on a 4x10 schedule (Monday through Thursday night, finishing Friday morning at 7:00 AM) with a 1-hour break per shift.
  • Interview Process: Requires an in-person interview on site.
