Job title: Machine Operator I (Prep Operator)
Location: Richardson, TX
Duration: Contract to hire
Pay rate : $18/hr -$20/hr

Position SummaryThe Machine Operator I (Prep Operator) is an entry level manufacturing position responsible for preparing raw materials, loading and unloading CNC machines, performing basic machine operations, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. This role supports production by keeping machines supplied with materials, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting experienced machinists as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, construction, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
