As a Production Technician, you'll play a key role in manufacturing operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and highquality production. This is a handson role for individuals who enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a strong team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and monitor production equipment in a fastpaced manufacturing environment
  • Accurately perform board inspections and accurately measure objects using a standard tape measure and a six inch scale
  • Operate unit wrapper and perform all associated tasks
  • Operate board grinders and prepare and feed scrap products
  • Operate compactor equipment and associated tasks
  • Properly set up and operate cutting machine
  • Operate printer equipment and bar code machine
  • Operate a tow motor and obtain license
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safetyfocused work area

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand production schedule
  • Comply with all plant rules
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Regular Attendance and maintain a good attendance record
  • Be a team player
  • All other duties as assigned or needed

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

The employee should possess:

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Accurately read tape measurers

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance
  • Work up to 12 hours in hot/cold manufacturing environment
  • Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 12 hours
  • Safeguard self with Personal protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties
