Job description

Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Will complete appropriate paperwork when needed including necessary checklist
• Receive verbal or written instructions from the Supervisor
• Operate the appropriate machine by installing and removing tooling, sizing and/or running a winding process, setting concentricity and installing proper reinforcement, etc.
• Assist in line start up, monitor all extruder controls during production and maintain feed stock continuously
• Handle hose production process and constantly inspect hose for defects
• Assist in any other area on line start up as needed and also in line shutdown. Will report any irregularities in equipment to Team Lead or Maintenance
• Observe all safety rules and report any unsafe working condition to the Supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
• Follow all company regulations and procedures
• Assist in yarn rewind
• Assist in training as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understands, and follows directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Must know basic math
• Must be able to read Gauges and tape Measure

Education and Experience:
• Previous experience in Manufacturing, extrusion, winding preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Computer
