Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting for an Embroidery Machine Operator for a full-time, permanent-potential opportunity with an established company in the Amherst, Nova Scotia area. This position is part of the company's Embroidery Division and is ideal for an experienced embroidery machine operator who is dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career with a well-established organization with over 25 years of industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multi-head embroidery machines efficiently and safely.
  • Operate Barudan or Tajima multi-head embroidery machines.
  • Hoop a variety of garments and products, including hats, T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and other items according to the production schedule.
  • Follow embroidery specifications and production schedules to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Make minor embroidery machine adjustments as required.
  • Monitor embroidery production and identify any issues that may affect quality or efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Follow company procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as an Embroidery Machine Operator is required.
  • Hands-on experience operating Barudan or Tajima multi-head embroidery machines is required.
  • Experience hooping hats, T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and similar garments.
  • Ability to make minor machine adjustments as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Reliable, dependable, and committed to consistent attendance.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • A stable employment history and demonstrated commitment to long-term employment are considered strong assets.
  • Must be willing to grow and develop with an established company.
What We Offer
  • Wages between $22/hrs plus 4% vacation pay 
  • Full-time, 40 hour per week opportunity
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
