Job description

Position Summary
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and, CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines.
  • Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
  • Change offsets on CNC Machines.
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to verify product quality and integrity.
  • Move completed parts per standard work processes.
  • Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist
