About The Role:
As a Serging Specialist, you will safely work alongside others in the Ernesta Fabrication and Sample facility. You will bring a curious mindset, eager to learn as you move between cut table operations, serging machines and distribution of samples to customers.
What You'll Do:
  • Serge (sew) samples that will be distributed to customers utilizing a serging machine
  • Operate a cut table machine and other cutting equipment to make samples from rolls of carpet
  • Heat seal labels that correctly identify each sample
  • Review each work order paying very close attention to details for each order to select the right samples to be sent to customers
  • Process sample returns
  • Help to manage sample inventory
  • Other tasks as assigned

Key Qualifications Include:
  • Industry-related experience (fabric, carpet, manufacturing, etc.) is desirable
  • Experience driving a forklift/pole truck is desirable
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
