  • Operate inspection equipment including surface plate setups, hardness testing machine, and Optical Comparator.


Job description

This position requires the inspection of machined parts, sheet metal parts, and welded parts for proper material, quality workmanship, dimensional, and functional. The position requires moderate physical exertion, such as lifting, bending and considerable time standing

This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the El Cajon, CA location.

Ability to work independently from blueprints.

Able to do inspection setup on surface plate using common inspection equipment.

Operate hardness testing machine.

Operate Optical Comparator.

Perform receiving inspection and associated paperwork.

Perform first article inspections.

Report discrepancies by writing Rejection Notices.

Perform inspection on outside processing and associated paperwork.

Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

Required to pass eye test.
