We are currently searching for experienced maintenance technicians looking for an opportunity to work in a collaborative culture and service unique industrial machines that produce essential products. This position has the responsibility for providing the necessary services to repair and maintain the facility and equipment, to enable the manufacture of products and meet customer and internal specifications with regard to quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness.

The first few weeks of Training will be Mon-Fri 7a-3p, then you will transition to a 12-hour Shift | 7am – 7pm - 2-2-3 rotating schedule**

Salary

Pay is commensurate with skill level and ranges from entry level at $18.00 per hour to the highest-skilled technician at $40.00 per hour.

Primary Duties

  • Effectively troubleshoot & repair equipment and adhere to maintenance documentation requirements
  • Actively engage in workplace safety improvement initiatives
  • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
  • Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
  • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs.
  • Record repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience preferred working in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong preference for advanced skills in both machine repair and control systems repair and maintenance
  • Experience servicing flexographic printing presses and blown film extruders is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • HVAC experience preferred
  • Must be able to read a multimeter
  • Basic knowledge of motor control circuits and VFDS
  • Basic knowledge pneumatic and hydraulic controls
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand constantly, excellent hand-eye coordination skills, strong mechanical skills and the ability to lift and load weights up to 50 pounds
