Job Overview:

As an Analyst on the WealthAG Analytics team, you'll help support a call center-based advisory business that delivers investment guidance to clients. You'll work with data to track how advisors are performing, assist in building reports, and help uncover insights that support better decision-making. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to key business concepts like operations, client engagement, and profitability, while learning how analytics directly impacts business outcomes.

In this role, you'll develop core skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, while also building your ability to communicate insights clearly to different audiences. You'll collaborate with teammates across functions, contribute to improving processes, and help make data more accessible and actionable. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn-offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to grow alongside an evolving business.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data from various sources to identify, create and validate impactful alerts and signals for our financial advisors/clients

  • Collaborate with business users as well as technology partners to build the most impactful and feasible solutions possible

  • Partner with various Data & Analytics functions, such as Advanced Analytics, Data Strategy, and Digital Analytics to ensure consistent frameworks and receives feedback on products

  • Develop an understanding of how data and machine learning can impact financial advisors' practices

  • Build and collaborate on working prototypes of machine learning/AI solutions

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as appropriate to support priority business projects; respond in a timely manner to ad hoc questions from executives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Decision Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline

  • 2+ years of related work experience in an advanced analytics or data science role supporting sales, finance, marketing, or operations

  • 2+ years of experience with a programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, R)

  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake), distributed technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Preferences:

  • Some experience with building and working with machine learning models preferred

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills that enable efficient identification of issues, development of hypotheses, and the execution of robust quantitative analyses to answer business questions

$69,731.00 - $116,184.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
