Step into the Mill: A Day in Your Role

Picture this: you arrive at a busy industrial mill, gear up with PPE, and jump into the heartbeat of production. You’ll diagnose why a conveyor motor tripped, trace a control circuit in an electrical panel, and load a PLC program to verify I/O—all before first break. By mid-shift, you’re pulling new conduit to clean up a run, swapping a breaker, and assisting with preventative maintenance to keep critical assets online. It’s hands-on, dynamic work where your electrical fundamentals shine and your curiosity is rewarded.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on industrial equipment
  • Work with PLC systems, electrical panels, motors, breakers, and control components
  • Pull wire and conduit/pipe and assist with preventative maintenance tasks
