Plant General Laborer - Asphalt Production FacilityEdinburg, PAFull-Time-SeasonalAbout the RoleLindy Paving is seeking a dependable and hands-on Plant Technician / General Laborer to support daily operations at our Edinburg, PA asphalt production facility. This role involves working throughout the plant, including loading and unloading materials, performing routine maintenance, and learning asphalt production processes. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build long-term skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload raw materials, supplies, and finished productsAssist with day-to-day plant operations and material handlingPerform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic mechanical tasksSupport production activities and learn asphalt manufacturing processesOperate tools, equipment, and machinery under supervisionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and plant policiesAssist other plant personnel as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to perform physical labor in an industrial environmentComfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipmentAbility to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periodsBasic mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience a plusPreferred ExperienceExperience in a manufacturing, plant, construction, or industrial settingForklift, loader, or heavy equipment experience (training may be provided)Mechanical, electrical, or maintenance backgroundValid driver's licensePhysical requirements Must have correctable vision with reasonably good night vision.
