Crafted Highlights: 

In the role of Packaging Operator/Relief Millwright in the St. John's brewery, you will be part of the Operations team with a primary focus on Asset Care. You will play a key role in supporting brewery operations while working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In this position, you will operate, clean, inspect, and lubricate packaging equipment, while also performing millwright (mechanical) asset care duties. You will contribute to optimizing operational performance through activities such as preventive maintenance, shutdown preparation and execution, reliability studies, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes supporting packaging line efficiency, utilities reduction, breakdown elimination, and training efforts.

This position reports to the Packaging and/or Asset Care Team Leader and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

What You'll Be Brewing: 

  • Operate packaging equipment under the guiding principles of Safety the Molson Coors Way and World Class Supply Chain
  • Perform predictive, preventative and operational maintenance/asset care using procedures and practices common to any Red Seal journeyman millwright
  • Analyze diagrams, schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
  • Complete work order documentation

Key Ingredients: 

  • You have your grade 12 or equivalent + Red Seal Journeyman Millwright Designation
  • You have 3-5 years' experience in high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing
  • Availability to work on a shift rotation with minimal supervision
  • Dual tickets as a machinist, welder, refrigeration mechanic, air conditioning mechanic, power engineer etc. (considered an asset)
  • Forklift experience (considered an asset)
  • Knowledge of SAP (considered an asset)
