Our organization is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our tech startup. The chosen candidate will be a critical player in developing and implementing advanced algorithms, models, and methods that will enable our team to make data-driven decisions and drive our predictive intelligence capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning techniques, an analytical mindset, and the ability to turn complex data into predictive insights for our company.
Responsibilities
- 1. Develop, test, and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms such as Bayesian, XGBoost, and Prophet.
- 2. Utilize tools such as Google Meridian, Agentic, and FastAPI for data processing and model implementation.
- 3. Conduct geo-experiments, holdouts, and backtesting to validate the performance and reliability of predictive models and machine learning solutions.
- 4. Work with large and complex data sets, solving difficult, non-routine analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods.
- 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- 6. Design and build data pipelines using SQL, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
- 7. Build and maintain a robust data architecture that supports our machine learning efforts.
- 8. Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field and introduce new technologies and methodologies to the team.
Qualifications
- 1. Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field.
- 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- 3. Proven experience in using predictive modeling, data processing, and data analysis techniques.
- 4. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- 5. Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn).
- 6. Strong knowledge in Google Meridian, MMM, Agentic, XGBoost, Prophet, FastAPI, Postgres, geo-experiments, holdouts, backtesting, SQL, Cloud run, and Cloud SQL.
- 7. Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, processes, tools and platforms.
- 8. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 10. Strong project management and organizational skills.
- 11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- 12. Passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
