Job description

2nd shift hours are 2:30pm - 12:00am M-TH and 2:30pm - 11:00am every other Friday on a 9/80 schedule.
Description:
Mercury Systems Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Machine Operator to operate Selective Solder, Press Fit and Depanel machines. Candidates must have the ability to:
  • Start up, operate, and maintain selective solder, press fir and depanel machines
  • Perform prep and manual insertion of through hole components
  • Masking of PCB assemblies
  • Identify electronic components
  • Read and understand assembly drawings
  • Comprehend and perform duties in accordance with ICP 610 and J-STD 001 standards

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Typically 3-5 years of machine operation experience
  • Follow all PPE, safety, and environmental compliance procedures.
  • Requires intermediate computer skills
  • Must be able to manually lift up to 30 pounds
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work overtime as necessary
  • Safe and accurate machine operation with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in soldering, preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
  • Must be able to distinguish colors, fine circuit detail, and tones
  • Must be able to communicate well and function in a team environment
