Job description

Are you ready to operate precision machinery and help create high-quality products? Spacesaver is looking for a Machine Operator to run production equipment and ensure parts meet customer quality and delivery standards. If you’re detail-oriented and enjoy working with advanced tools, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Operate pre-set machines such as press brakes, turrets, spot welders, punch presses, and roll formers to produce parts according to shop orders.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
  • Read and interpret electronic and written shop orders.
  • Perform quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
  • Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to schedules.
  • Use Spacesaver’s ERP system for shop order management and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
  • Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to pass basic math and measuring assessments.
  • Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English (translation assistance available upon request).
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
