Manufacturing Engineer
Assistsin planning and designing manufacturing processes for a production facility.Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assemblymethods, and work force utilization. Determines the parts, equipment, and toolsneeded in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to productspecifications.

Job Summary
• Interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine sequence of operations, and setup requirements to produce the product. Document manufacturing processes to capture all relevant information for the production of the product to the prescribed requirements.
• Design holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, punch presses, welders, grinders, and shapers to safely secure the material being processed to hold tolerances consistently.
• Prescribe by written document or computerized machine control programs all control variables for the effective production of products through manufacturing processes. Assists process operators as needed to ensure production operations are done in a safe, effective, and controlled manner.
• Assists process operators and inspectors in verification and validation of conformance of process outputs to specifications.
• Update as needed process documentation to reflect actual processes, process work times, and required resources for future planning of recurring product production.
• Confer with management, supervisors, production personnel, or others to resolve production problems.
• Assist supervisors in the documentation of production process equipment maintenance plans.
• Assist management in the identification and justification of capital equipment for process improvements.
• Assist supervisors in the installation of replacement parts in process mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure safety, functionality, and performance.
• Maximizes the ability to machine all required parts in-house efficiently and cost effectively. Assists with make/buy decisions on new parts
Required Experience and Education
• Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering.
• Requires 0-2 years of related experience.
