Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and work instructions.
  • Set up workpieces using appropriate fixtures, chucks, tables, and other holding devices.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Operate saws, grinders, welding, and flame-cutting equipment as required.
  • Use hand tools (e.g., grinders, chisels, saws) and lifting tools (e.g., cranes, forklifts, hand carts) safely and effectively.
  • Complete jobs according to production schedules and deadlines.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements.
  • Contribute to a team-based work environment that supports continuous improvement and quality objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with bench work and product assembly when needed.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and safety documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and meet deadlines under supervision.
  • Familiar with production documentation and quality reporting.
