Summary: The Machine Operator I is responsible for the daily operation of filling machinery to produce top quality products.

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Know, understand, and follow production schedule in operation of machinery.

  • Communicate with leadership on any issues that impede production.

  • Troubleshoot machinery.

  • Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes.

  • Perform surface foaming and mechanical cleaning of machinery.

  • Assist in quality inspections on materials and finished product.

  • Document activities throughout shift.

  • Proactively recognize and report safety issues.

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.

  • Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience in manufacturing environment in operator role, highly preferred.

  • Proven exp
