Job Overview
The Computer Technician is responsible for managing standard network infrastructure, resolving help desk tickets, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor standard networking infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi).
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets promptly to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Set up, configure, and deploy employee workstations and devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within standard enterprise systems.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and internal procedures clearly.
- Assist in exploring and implementing AI-driven tools and productivity systems.
Requirements
- Experience working as an IT Technician or in a similar help desk role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows/Mac OS and standard office software.
- Hands-on experience with PC/server hardware diagnostics and repairs.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with AI systems, prompt engineering, or LLM tools is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
