Work You'll Do

As a Project Software Engineer II on the project, you will:

  • Work with product teams, solution architects, and DevSecOps engineers to strategize Platform Engineering approaches and capabilities
  • Design, build, and test CI/CD pipelines to support a wide variety of projects using disparate code languages and platforms
  • Work with product teams to identify gaps, troubleshoot bugs, and enhance CI/CD capabilities
  • Design, build, and test Helm charts to support a wide variety of projects with disparate operational requirements 
  • Work with product teams to identify gaps, troubleshoot bugs, and enhance Helm charts
  • Assist with the design, engineering, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and applications hosted therein
  • Work with Product Teams to troubleshoot issues and modify configurations for their software
  • Define and implement standards for software development and environment configurations that are flexible enough to meet Product Team needs and compliant with client requirements
  • Assist with the design, engineering, and maintenance of Custom Terraform Modules 
  • Assist with the implementation of fully automated Low-to-High (i.e., unclassified to classified environment) pipelines

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required
  • 1+ years of experience in supporting software development teams by providing DevSecOps capabilities
  • 2+ years of experience of Kubernetes
  • 1+ year of experience with common CI/CD concepts, such as package repositories, code scanning, automated unit testing, and deployment. 
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 2 days per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

Preferred: 

  • 1+ year of experience with AWS
  • 1+ year of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM Templates

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 88,600 to $ 147,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
