Texas Licensed Journeyman Electricians – Rockdale & Bastrop, TX


Pay: $38.00–$42.00 per hour


Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Projects | Overtime Opportunities

TradeSource is actively hiring experienced Texas Licensed Journeyman Electricians for long-term commercial and industrial construction projects in the Rockdale and Bastrop, TX areas. These are ongoing projects—not short-term service calls or a few weeks of work. We are looking for experienced electricians who want consistent hours, steady work, and the opportunity for overtime.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical systems on active commercial and industrial construction projects while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
  • Install and bend electrical conduit, including accurately measuring, cutting, and bending pipe to match layouts, equipment, blueprints, and jobsite conditions.
  • Perform conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment connections according to project specifications, electrical prints, and applicable codes.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and layouts to determine material requirements, conduit routing, equipment locations, and proper installation methods.
  • Install electrical panels, fixtures, devices, and associated equipment while ensuring work is completed safely and correctly the first time.
  • Work alongside other electricians and construction trades while maintaining a clean, organized, and productive jobsite.


What We're Looking For

  • Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License – Required
  • Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience with the ability to perform quality work with limited supervision.
  • Strong conduit and pipe-bending skills, including EMT and other conduit.
  • Experience with conduit, wire pulling, terminations, panels, fixtures, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical prints, schematics, and layouts.
  • OSHA 10 certification and reliable transportation.
  • Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work overtime as project schedules require.
