Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Quality Assurance (QA) LVN Nurse position in the Jasper area.


Job Description:
 
A Quality Assurance LPN/LVN is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for compliance and appropriateness of care.
 

Qualifications:
  • Must have an associate degree (A.A.), or equivalent from a two (2) year college.
  • Must have at least one year's experience in hospice, home health or a related field.
  • Must have a current State LPN or LVN license.
  • Must be able to speak and write effectively.
  • Must work well with other disciplines to coordinate patient care.
  • Must be able to prepare forms for pre and post payment audits.
  • Must have a current State driver's license
  • Experience in reviewing nurses' notes for completeness, compliance with physicians' orders, authorized services, regulations required
  • Experience in reviewing admission packets required
  • Experience required in reviewing all POC and re-certification for: accuracy, order updates, frequency updates, goal updates, medication profiles review, format and wording, diagnoses update, C.N.A. care plan
  • Conducts one-on-one in-services for documentation problems as needed
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to travel - must have reliable transportation
  • Clean background and drug screen
